George Orwell

"The more society
drifts from the truth,
the more it will hate
those who speak it."

George Orwell

I will not be silenced.

I will not be told which words I may or may not use. I will not modify my speech or writing to suit a particular agenda or to avoid antagonising some group or other who profess to be offended by the exercise of our hard-won right to free speech.

I do not seek to silence you, to burn your books or to ostracise you for your views - and I claim my right to argue a case and point out where I believe you to be wrong as I would defend your right to do the same.

Once we start to walk down the road of censure, cancellation and ostracism, we will all too soon be lost and  I am beginning to  fear we have taken far too many steps already.

We must think for ourselves and not be told, coerced, or pressured by groups  of whatever origin into thinking that which they find acceptable or believing that which we are told to believe.

Think freely, or become complicit in the death of  freedom.
Be a freethinker, and declare yourself so.

In the near future, time will have finally silenced the last voices of the holocaust, and with them dies a living memory that is beyond value.
With the all-pervasive disregard of fact and the indefatigable advance of technology, will the lessons of history be learned and cherished as they should?

They would not engage with the issue, but chose instead tired dogma and blame, certain in their position as they sneered and criticised. Time has proved them completely and utterly wrong.
